Terms of Service

Pixel Film Studios plugins ("Products") are digital downloads only. Once your purchase and payment is processed, Pixel will email you a download link to the email address provided at time of purchase, typically within a few minutes. Downloads are also available in your account dashboard.

Our shopping cart includes a bundle tool — add 5 or more items and receive $35.00 off your total. Discount codes cannot be combined with the bundle tool; only one discount may be applied per purchase.

A single plugin license may be downloaded 5 times and used on up to 3 computers. Composites are limited to 3 downloads per file per purchased license.

When you purchase a Product, your use is governed by Pixel's Software License Agreement. By completing your purchase, you agree to be bound by the terms of that License Agreement.

All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). Prices at time of purchase will be honored except in cases of obvious error. Pixel strives to ensure accuracy but reserves the right to correct any pricing errors.

If an error is discovered after purchase, Pixel will contact you promptly and offer reconfirmation or cancellation. Non-USD payment methods will be converted at your card issuer's applicable exchange rate.

Pixel accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. By placing an order, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the payment method.

If your payment is declined, Pixel is not responsible for unfulfilled orders or any resulting consequences.

All purchases may be returned within 7 days for a full refund, provided no download of the product has been initiated. Once you have downloaded or accessed any purchased plugin or template, the sale is final and no refund will be issued. This applies to all individual products, Mega Packs, and Suites.

Our support agents will issue a refund if they are unable to resolve your issue via screen share, subject to the download restriction above. Mega Packs and Suites count as 3 products due to the multiple products they include.

Members Club — No Refund Policy. The Members Club ($499 lifetime access) is explicitly non-refundable under any circumstances. Upon purchase, you receive immediate access to the entire Pixel Film Studios plugin library — over 2,000 products. Because access is granted instantly and in full at the time of purchase, no refunds will be issued regardless of whether any individual plugin has been downloaded. By completing your Members Club purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

If you return 3 or more items from your account, our system will automatically restrict future purchases to prevent fraud — no exceptions can be made. Upon receiving a refund, you must promptly uninstall any software for which you no longer hold a valid license. Creating new accounts to circumvent purchase restrictions is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

Pixel uses PayPal as its third-party payment processor. For questions about payment, tax information, or fraudulent activity, contact our support via live chat at pixelfilmstudios.com with your order number. PayPal fees do not apply to refunds.

All content on this Site — including text, software, music, photographs, trademarks, logos, video, and graphics ("Content") — is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property laws. You may only use Content as expressly authorized.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, framing, or creation of derivative works is prohibited without Company's prior written consent.

You may not:

• Send unsolicited commercial email using Site addresses
• Delete or modify any Site Content
• Interfere with Site operation or connected servers
• Use the Site in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Use automated bots or spiders except for generally available search engines
• Use Company trademarks without prior written consent

Company may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

If you object to any change, discontinue use of the Site immediately.

Company reserves the right to modify or terminate the Site or your access, with or without notice, temporarily or permanently. These Terms survive termination. Company is not liable to you or any third party for exercising this right.

To report copyright infringement, contact our designated agent at [email protected]. Your notice must include:

• An authorized signature
• Identification of the infringed work
• Identification of the infringing material and its location
• Your contact information
• A good faith belief statement
• An accuracy statement under penalty of perjury

Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove infringing material upon receiving proper notice.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pixel Film Studios, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of California without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You consent to personal jurisdiction in Orange County, California.

Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration before JAMS or Judicate West in Orange County, CA. The arbitrator's decision is final and non-appealable. You waive any right to participate in a class action.

If any provision is found invalid, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Company's failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. Company may assign its rights under these Terms without notice. You may not assign without written consent.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties on this subject matter.

Any claim or cause of action arising from use of the Site or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after it arose, regardless of any other statute of limitations.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Our plugins are designed for use with macOS and Apple Final Cut Pro. We provide software updates at our discretion and are not obligated to maintain compatibility with every future OS or FCP release.

By using this Site and purchasing Products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, which carry the same force and effect as a signed written agreement.

Program description. Pixel Film Studios operates an optional SMS marketing program (the "Program") that sends recurring promotional and informational text messages — including new product announcements, sales, exclusive offers, and updates — to mobile numbers that have opted in.

Consent. By providing your mobile number and opting in (whether on our website, by texting an opt-in keyword, or by checking an SMS opt-in box at checkout), you expressly consent to receive recurring marketing and promotional text messages from Pixel Film Studios at the number provided, sent via an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You must be at least 18 years of age and the account holder of the mobile number provided (or have authorization from the account holder) to opt in.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You may receive up to approximately 4–8 messages per month under normal conditions; frequency may be higher during major sales events or product launches.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless plan. Pixel Film Studios is not responsible for any charges your wireless carrier may bill to you.

Opt out — STOP. You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message we send. After you send the opt-out message, we will send you a single confirmation message acknowledging your request, and you will receive no further marketing messages from the Program. To rejoin, sign up again on our website or text an opt-in keyword.

Help — HELP. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact [email protected] or call/text the support number listed on our Help Center.

Supported carriers. The Program is available on the following major US carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile (including former Sprint customers), Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, Google Fi, Mint Mobile, and Virgin Mobile. T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and other carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Other carriers may be supported but not guaranteed; service may not be available on all carriers or in all areas.

Eligibility. The Program is currently available only to recipients with mobile numbers issued by US-based carriers. International availability is not currently supported.

Privacy. Your phone number, opt-in status, opt-in/opt-out timestamps, and message engagement data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with our SMS service providers (such as Mailchimp / Intuit), as needed to operate the Program.

Changes to the Program. We may modify or terminate the Program, or these SMS Terms, at any time without prior notice. Material changes will be communicated through the SMS channel itself or via email.

Disputes. Any disputes arising out of the Program are governed by Section 15 (Governing Law & Dispute Resolution) of these Terms.
